Steve Ballmer, CEO of Microsoft, yesterday held a press conference in the futuristic setting of the Mobile World Congress 2010 in Barcelona. Windows Phone 7 born.

With the new platform, Microsoft Windows Phone 7 offers an innovative approach compared to common OS for mobile phones, thanks to an attractive design and satisfying experiences of use. It also provides a central place to send updates to Facebook and Windows Live in a single step. The section images in one step simplifies the sharing of images and video into a social network.
Windows Phone 7 Series Devices also gather photos of a user by integrating Web and PC and by phone the perfect tool to display the full collection of videos and photos of a person.
Among the major categories, we also find that Office, as its name suggests, will provide the functionality of Microsoft Office by giving immediate access to known office suite. With access to Office, OneNote, SharePoint, and workspace in one place, users can easily read and share documents. With the integration of Outlook Mobile, users can stay productive and updated through mobile devices.

Belfiore also dwells on the ability of the integrated browser. The software is based on the code version of Internet Explorer for PC. The system will manage the Web browser with multigestures, zooming on a web page, while retaining the high quality of reading. The new Internet Explorer Mobile is based on new technology called “sub pixel positioning,” more precise than ClearType. In any device Windows Phone 7 Series will be a dedicated hardware button to Bing, which will allow you one-click feature to search from any screen of the phone, while an implementation of Bing Special Search will allow for custom results and context, shows the most relevant Web content or local, depending on the type of request.
Partners around the world have pledged to include Windows Phone 7 Series in their plans for portfolio products. Among these are mobile operators including AT & T, Deutsche Telekom AG, Orange, SFR, Sprint, Telecom Italy, Telefónica, Telstra, T-Mobile USA, Verizon Wireless and Vodafone, and manufacturers like Dell, Garmin-Asus, HTC Corp., HP, LG, Samsung, Sony Ericsson, Toshiba and Qualcomm Inc.. The first Windows Mobile Phone 7 Series will be available from December 2010.
