Toshiba NB550D, newest member of the family of netbooks, it’s official. Thanks to Internet HD technology, AMD offers unprecedented multimedia experience with high quality audio stereo harman/kardon speaker and more Toshiba NB550D Specifications. The mini NB550D will be available in Europe in the first quarter of 2011.

The new Toshiba NB550D ensures higher quality audio and video without connecting to the outside speakers netbook. About 80% of those who use a netbook would have better sound quality.

The powerful harman/kardon speaker with 2-watt output and Dolby Advanced Audio guarantee high-definition (720p) video and high audio quality music files with low vibration, sound and power of the defined volume. With the launch of Internet HD processor from AMD, new Toshiba mini NB550D offers a unique multimedia experience. These new processors allow AMD netbook to reproduce crisp and vivid video.

Thanks to HDMI, Toshiba NB550D allows you to watch high-definition video directly to your TV or through a projector on a larger screen. The Toshiba Sleep & Music lets you listen to music stored on a MP3 player through the speakers when the netbook is connected to the microphone port, without a PC. Offering direct access to Toshiba Music Place, built by 7Digital, mini NB550D confirms its role as a ‘mobile sound machine multimedia‘. Toshiba Music Place provides, access to more than 11 million MP3 audio tracks that once purchased, can be stored online and listen to different devices with Internet connection.

Toshiba NB550D is available in five colors: blue, brown, lime green, turquoise and orange. The metal inserts and the knurled texture give the new NB550D a modern and elegant style. The finishing rubber bumper makes the new Toshiba NB550D pleasant to the touch and comfortable to use.
