The Japanese manufacturer has updated its netbook with form factor 10-inch, providing support for DDR3 memory. The first of two, Toshiba NB305, uses the new Intel Atom Pineview N455 from 1.66 GHz and comes with 1 GB memory (DDR3 type of course). Based on the operating system Windows 7 Starter, Toshiba NB305 has a data storage space of 250GB and WiFi 802.11b/g/n. The autonomy of the system is left to a lithium ion battery 6 cell, which should ensure operability next 8 hours.

Simultaneously, the Japanese company has also introduced Toshiba NB250, an entry level device, constructed of plastic and sells at a keyboard features a different layout than the previous model. Despite these differences, in substance, the technical specifications of Toshiba NB250 and Toshiba NB305 are the same: in particular, the processor is always adopted an Atom N455 and is expected to support DDR3 memory.
Both models also share the 10 inch display capable of working at a classical resolution 1.024×600 pixels. In the frame of the latter is placed a webcam for videoconferencing. From the aesthetic point of view, the Toshiba netbook have a sober and classic design with a sleek black color and with different status LEDs placed in the lower lid. The touchpad, rather wide, is characterized by two separate selection buttons.

The size and weight make it low particularly these two netbooks are ideal traveling companions on the road. There are no known details about the availability of two new netbook. However, Toshiba NB305 and Toshiba NB250 will have a retail price indicatively equal to $ 379 and $ 299 respectively.
