Tablet with Intel Atom Z670 Oak Trail in March.
Rumors emerged on the Net, Intel should release a new platform for netbook and tablet, Intel Oak Trail, in the March with immediate marketing of devices that will integrate.
According to information published by Fudzilla, Intel have now completed the development of future low-cost platform, Intel Atom Oak Trail, sending the first CPU for Netbook and tablet to different companies for final implementation. The program provides for the issue on the market of Intel tablet-based with Windows 7 operating system by March 2011. The processor will be available on Intel Atom Z670 model, a single core CPU clocked at 1.5GHz and 512KB cache.
With a maximum TDP of 3W, Atom Z670 can also be installed on device fanless (passive dissipation). This release will be followed by other CPU (dual core also) intended for devices running MeeGo. Here, the availability is scheduled for the second half of 2011.
