Sony Ericsson has introduced yesterday evening, at an event in the frame of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, two new smartphones for entertainment, called X10 Mini and Sony Ericsson Xperia Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Pro Mini
Both devices are compact versions of the popular Xperia X10 which is one of the devices in the most complete, powerful and rich mobile applications. The new Sony Ericsson Xperia Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Mini and Mini Pro X10 exploit Google Android OS 1.6 and Qualcomm MSM7227 600MHz processor. The two terminals have a slide-type QWERTY keyboard, accelerometer and four control buttons that ensure the quick use of applications, camera, and a call button that can be customized with four functions.

One of the main features of the new device Sony Ericsson is the presence of Sony Ericsson Timescape that allows the user to unite under a single interface text messages (SMS), missed calls, updates from Twitter and Facebook without having to open multiple applications simultaneously. Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Pro Mini and Mini have a 2:55-inch TFT touchscreen with a resolution of 240 × 320 pixels (QVGA), resistant to scratches, Bluetooth stereo (A2DP), music player, 5 megapixel camera with auto-focus and geotagging .

Sony Ericsson Devices are equipped with a 3.5 mm audio jack, mini-USB, barcode scanning application NeoReader, WiFi, up to 128MB of memory and microSD card slot. X10 Mini and Sony Ericsson Xperia Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini Pro supports HSPA 900/2100 networks and EDGE 850/900/1800/1900, HSPA 850/1900/2100 and EDGE 850/900/1800/1900. The size of Xperia X10 Mini are 83 × 50×16 mm for a weight of 88 grams, while Xperia X10 Mini Pro measures 90 × 52×17 mm and weighs 120 grams.

The X10 mini-smartphone from Sony Ericsson will be available in six colors, Pearl White, Black, Pink, Lime, Red and Silver, while the professional version will be sold only in two colors, black and red. X10 Mini and Sony Ericsson Xperia Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini Pro will be available on the market since the second quarter of 2010.
