Samsung RC512 and Samsung RV511 Notebook.
The Korean giant revealed two new notebooks at CES 2011, Samsung RC512 and Samsung RV511, both equipped with processors from the chipmaker California but dedicated to different targets.
Samsung also embraces the new Intel Sandy Bridge, pending correction of the hardware. The Korean company offers its customers, the Samsung RC512 (RC510) and Samsung RV511 notebook characterized by a good technical level. Find out the details.
Samsung RC512 features
The first model is Samsung RC512 (Samsung RC510 series), features a 15.6-inch form factor and designed for demanding customers who require top performance and a highly customizable setup. Equipped with Intel Core i7-2630M Sandy Bridge, Samsung RC512 can accommodate up to 6 GB of RAM and offers up to 750 GB hard drive alongside a DVD burner or on request from a reader to enjoy Blu-ray multimedia content in high definition.
The video card manufacturer is chosen by a Nvidia GeForce GT430 equipped with 1 GB of dedicated memory. Among other features, a Bluetooth module, Ethernet and WiFi connectivity, Windows 7 operating system from Microsoft and removable lithium-ion battery. The launch price of the Samsung RC512 is $ 1,149 and availability is expected in the coming months.

Samsung RV511 features
Less impressive, from a technical standpoint, Samsung RV511 is based on a more “modest” Intel Core i3-380m supported by 4 GB of RAM and a 500 GB hard drive.
This model has no dedicated video card, but relies on integrated graphics controller. It is, therefore, a 15.6-inch notebook ever, but for those who need a device that is not balanced and honest but will have to cope with particularly demanding applications. The introductory price of this solution is $ 599. Both models share a simple and essential design which shows, however, a good strength and attention to detail.
