Samsung notebook with Transparent. Just at the 2010 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, the famous international exhibition of consumer electronics, Samsung has presented, in conjunction with the new notebook series Rx30 and Rx80, a new display based on OLED technology. This is a model with a diagonal of 14 inches. But certainly this is not the innovative feature. In fact, the prototype developed by Samsung achieves a level of transparency, when switched off by 40% against about 20-25% of the solutions currently known.
This potential, which could be more specifically linked to an innovative design rather than the actual functionality of the system, offer a glimpse of any objects behind the display, even when it is running.
The scenic impact is high profile, no doubt, even if it is not immediately possible to imagine practical reasons for devices of this kind. Anyway, this is only the beginning because it is not ruled out the use of this technology even on devices other than laptops, for example, MP3 players.
But Samsung did not comment on future plans that would see the implementation and practical utilization of OLED transparent. It ‘possible that the next few weeks could be decisive to know more details.
