Samsung NF110, NF210 and NF310 Specifications and Price

The Korean giant unveiled three new models of the NF series. These are the Samsung NF110, NF210 and NF310 netbook based Intel Pine Trail platform.

Three new Netbook enrich the already fed proposal from Samsung: NF310, NF210 and NF110 are devices based on the Intel Pine Trail platform. Specifically, Samsung N310, which represents the top of the range, uses a dual-core Atom N550 processor and is equipped with a display having a diagonal of 10.1 inches and 1,024 x 600 pixel resolution. It can opt for a HD version of 1366 x 768 pixels which represents an interesting new feature for this market segment.

It has Windows 7 Starter Edition operating system and will cost 399 euros, equivalent to about 311 euros at current exchange rates. Samsung NF210 tip, however, on a single core Atom processor and assembles the same panel as the previous model. The cost is just $ 20 cheaper than at the top of the range ($ 379 or 296 euros). The entry levels model in the series, Samsung NF110, is based on an Intel Atom N455 1.6 GHz frequency. Also features a 10.1 inches screen and 1,024 x 600 pixel resolution and uses the Intel GMA X3150 integrated controller.

The base memory is 1 GB DDR3 but it is possible to envisage an expansion to a maximum of 2 GB. The hard drive is 250 GB with 5,400 rpm. Besides a set of speakers with 2 x 1.5 W with SRS sound, the Samsung NF110 mounting an integrated webcam with 0.3 megapixel sensor, WiFi and Ethernet, 83 keyboard keys to 93% full size, 3 USB port, VGA video output, multi-card reader, microphone and headphone jack.

The battery has 6 cells and is a capacity of 8850 mAh. This component raises some attention. According to the manufacturer, in fact, should provide up to 14 hours per charge. The above characteristics are also largely shared by the two previous models that differ, therefore, especially for the processor used. The Samsung NF series includes different of netbook models, the perfect companion for work and leisure when performance is less important than the versatility and comfort.

The use of processors with high efficiency and low tip on operational all the attention that for the three new models proposed by the manufacturer, is perfectly matched to a particularly sophisticated and elegant design. The arrival in Europe is expected in the coming weeks, specifically in the month of October.
