Samsung N230 new netbook design 10-inch

The Korean giant has presented at the World IT Show 2010, the new Samsung N230 netbook that will be available as early on next month.

Samsung has recently unveiled a new member of the set N. We are talking about the Samsung N230 10-inch netbook that can be considered a special version of previous models. Although from a technical standpoint there are big differences, for example, the Samsung N210 and N220 is the design that has undergone a restyling deeper. Featuring a keyboard with keys and a touchpad island of generous size, the Samsung N230 features chrome finish with high visual impact and has a shiny brushed steel structure.

Interestingly, the elegant coupled between the display, probably with a matte surface and therefore more resistant to the effects of reflection of light, with the glossy frame that surrounds it. The reference platform is now stainless Intel PineTrail with Atom Pineview N450 1.66 GHz processor and X3150 integrated graphics. It is possible that this base may vary from country to country. The system memory is 1 GB, in line with most of the solutions on the market, while the hard disk has a cut 160 GB.

The display has a diagonal of 10.1 inches and works with the usual resolution 1.024×600 pixels. The operating system is, Windows 7 Starter Edition, equips, now, most netbooks on the market. There are no known details about the configuration, although you can make plausible assumptions. For example, the network side, this is definitely a Gigabit Ethernet and Wi-Fi. Perhaps the manufacturer will offer Bluetooth and 3G connections for the module as optional choices. The number and type of ports and interfaces refer to a later article when such data are known.

The Computex Taipei is coming and Samsung N230 could be one of the hosts of the event. However, as reported NetbookChoice this device is designed to accommodate a user requiring a device simple, inexpensive and high degree of portability. The period specified by the manufacturer for the start of marketing falls in June this year. Have not been released, however, official information about the retail price.
