Panasonic presented new Toughbook models N9, S9, F9 and R9. With the new series, the producer intends to enrich its range of proposed solutions with interesting potential, updating the earlier versions.
With the introduction of the new series of systems Toughbook, Panasonic combines the usual practice of these devices, with the power of Intel’s latest processors are ideal for providing the computing capacity needed to cope with sometimes challenging situations. Panasonic TouchBook N9 is a notebook equipped with a 12.1-inch display and resolution 1.280×800 pixels. Based on Windows 7 Professional, this family of devices uses an Intel Core i5-520M 2.40 GHz and is equipped with 2 GB of RAM expandable up to a maximum of 4 GB.
The hard disk has a capacity of 320 GB. The equipment is completed with 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi connectivity in addition to the usual network card, 3 USB 2.0, HDMI video output, D-Sub, card reader and memory module WiMax, all in a structure from dimensions of 282.8 × 209.6 × 23,4-38,7 mm for a weight of about 1.26 kilograms. Panasonic Toughbook series S9 has similar characteristics in terms of processor and memory. The hard drive is 250 GB and even then you have a WiMax module.
The main difference is the sheer size of the display, in this case equal to 12.1-inch WXGA. It ‘a comfortable DVD burner which is underneath palm rest. The operating system is always the Windows 7 Professional. Series S9 will be available from 17 February, in the colors black and silver with dimensions of 282.8 × 209.6 × 23,4-38,7 mm and a weight of 1.32 kilograms. The rest of the configuration is comparable to the series N9.
The processor and the memory allocation does not change even if the family Panasonic Toughbook F9 that exploits a panel 14.1-inch LED-backlit and a resolution of 1440×900 pixels. The budget also includes a DVD Super Multi, 3 USB 2.0 ports, a Gigabit Ethernet network card, connectivity, 802.11a/b/g/n WiFi, WiMAX module, and port D-Sub. The battery has a capacity of 3,100 mAh and offers a range of up to 9 hours.
The size and weight are equal, respectively, at 326 × 251×25.5-48, 5 mm and 1.61 kilograms. Again, the debut is scheduled for February 17 originally on the Japanese market. Complete the picture, the Panasonic Toughbook series based R9, this time on an Intel Core i7-620UM by 1.06 or 1.2 GHz with 4 GB of DDR3 memory and a basic 2.5-inch hard drives up to 500 GB. E ‘can also opt for a solid state drive 128 GB.
The TFT display is 10.4 inches and resolution 1.024×768 pixels. Also you can find-in Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n, Bluetooth module, card reader (SD / SDHC), 2 USB ports, and D-Sub. The battery allows you to reach the 7 hours of battery life and the operating system is always the Windows 7 Professional.
