Unveiled in late February, the new MSI X360 13.3-inch ultraportable MSI is the first model in the range of X-Slim thin notebooks Taiwanese company based on the Intel platform Calpella.
Although we had a first contact with MSI X360 at CeBIT 2010 in Hanover, Taiwanese company today officially released the new model on the market by providing an ultrathin sheet complete and accurate.

MSI X-Slim X360 supplement ECO Engine technology that allows you to change the system between multiple operating modes: Game, Movie, Presentation, Office, or Turbo Battery Mode. With the latter, you can decrease the power consumption of the device in particular by reducing the operating frequency of the processor to achieve greater autonomy. EasyViewer using the 3D display, zoom, rotate, etc, the images while EasyFace is a facial recognition system.
X-Slim X360 sports a gray finish on the display lid and palm rest, with the style Color Film Print should resist scratching. The set looks pretty simple and relatively elegant. The keyboard is a pattern to keys chiclet InterCall well plates from each other. The touchpad has good size and two buttons for selecting silver. Connectivity is placed, at least in large part, on the sides. Regarding the configuration, MSI X-Slim X360 is one of the first ultraportables to incorporate Intel Calpella platform and in particular a Core i5-520UM low consumption.
Autonomy should not disappoint thanks to the use of an 8-cell battery. Lacks a dedicated graphics card and optical drive, but their absence can limit the weight and thickness of the notebook. Connectivity is standard, with the presence of an 802.11n WiFi module (appreciation) and Bluetooth, and HDMI port. Sorry for the number of USB ports (limited) and the lack of an eSATA port. At the moment we do not know the price and availability of MSI X360.
