After presenting among others the CR420 model of MSI, Technology News, present for its readers at CES in Las Vegas in 2010, offers exclusive images and details of the laptop MSI CX420.
The Consumer Electronics Show 2010 in Las Vegas, has seen several devices and players, especially, many world famous producers. MSI also could not miss the event and, among other solutions, has introduced the MSI notebook CX420, a portable system with 14-inch form factor and specifications similar to MSI CR420 which we have spoken on another occasion.

One key aspect of the configuration of this model is the presence of powerful Intel Core i3 and i5 (the chipset is the Intel HM55), accompanied for the occasion, the quantity of base memory to 4GB. Various cuts available regarding the capacity of the hard disk that can start from 250 GB up to, if required, to 500 GB.
The display, LED backlight and 14-inches, operates at a resolution 1.366×768 pixels and is driven by an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470 with 1GB DDR3 dedicated memory that, in fact, represents the most significant difference between the CX420 and the CR420 that, instead, adopt the integrated solution.
The new model created by the MSI occurs in a structure lined with scratch-resistant, with dimensions of 344.4 x 221 x 28 mm and weighing 2.2 kilograms whereas the 6-cell battery supplied. Elegant and refined, the CX420 bit much on energy savings by providing proprietary technology ECO Engine, which is able to offer different energy profiles can be selected according to the type of use of the system provided (Gaming, Movie, Presentation, Office and Turbo Battery) .
The envelope is enriched by the presence of a built-in Bluetooth 2.1, a webcam with 1.3 megapixel sensor, multi-format card reader, Kensington lock hole for video output, HDMI, D-sub, 3 USB 2.0, Mic – in, Headphone out, brings the network card and a comfortable keyboard chiclet. MSI CX420 will be sold in conjunction with the Home Premium operating system Windows 7, but at present we have no information about the date of issue and the suggested retail price.
