The celebrations for the twentieth anniversary of the Mazda MX-5 are not yet finished. The evergreen Japanese Spyder debuted with his first series in 1989 and was immediately successful. Since then, the Mazda MX-5 took different guise, came out three series and several special versions.

The last is precisely the Mazda MX-5 Black & Matte Edition, last Mx-5 for the twentieth anniversary celebration.
The Black & Matte is recognizable mainly by body color, a matte black like velvet, in contrast with chrome detail of the bodywork. Also infects the black rims, alloy ten races, and other parts of the body, such as door handles and door mirror caps.
Under the hood we find this special version of the 2.0-liter 160 horsepower, capable of bringing the car up to 210 kilometers per hour and to complete the transition from 0 to 100 km / h in 7.9 seconds. The car was developed in collaboration with LK (Laura Kczekotowska), design workshop and will be marketed solely in the French market. The Mazda MX-5 Black & Matte will be exhibited in the Salon du Cabriolet, Coupé & SUV, expected to Paris from 9 to 11 April.
Apart from this special version, Mazda celebrated the twentieth anniversary of the Spyder with the Mazda MX-5 20th Anniversary, characterized by specific colors for the bodywork and chrome exterior details and produced in just 2,000 units.
