FCC (U.S. Federal Communications Commission) recently tested at its laboratories the new netbook Korean company, known as the LG X140.

LG X140 is based on the Intel platform Pine Trail. The heart of the device is assigned to an Atom N450 processor at 1.66GHz to 1.83GHz or Atom N470, with 1GB/2GB of RAM and hard drive 160GB/320GB. LG X140 has a classic 10.1-inch display with a resolution of 1024 × 600 pixels, accompanied by a 1.3-megapixel webcam. Connectivity is instead assigned to a module Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/ne Bluetooth. Optionally, the LG X140 user can add an integrated 3G modem and an 8 cell battery (instead of the standard 6-cell battery).
The installed operating system is Windows 7 in LG X140 Starter. Currently there are no details on the retail price and LG X140 availability on the European market, but entry into the laboratory (FCC members to the verification of electronic devices before they are placed on the market) suggests that the release of LG X140 netbook is made at short .
