News at Lenovo. It seems the producers have decided to stop marketing the ThinkPad X301 notebook by the end of this year. Lenovo ThinkPad T410s will be the likely replacement.

Lenovo, a leading manufacturer of mobile systems, is planning to stop marketing the ThinkPad X310. According to rumor, the producer decided to withdraw the model from the market by the end of the year. The motivations behind this business could be multiple choice. It is assumed that the ThinkPad X310 will be replaced by new ThinkPad T410s that although more often than before, has a lower cost (probably about $ 1,000 difference) and can ensure better performance.
Besides the ThinkPad T410s to the possibility to be equipped with dedicated video cards. The risk viewed from China, is therefore likely to overlap between the two models with a consequent fall in profits. Lenovo has now confirmed the news and did not release details on the future trade policy. Recall that the ThinkPad X310 was born as a direct rival to Apple’s MacBook Air even though the volume of sales performance that hasn’t generated as expected.
Lenovo ThinkPad X301 uses low power processors, Intel Core 2 Duo processor (eg Intel Core 2 Duo SU9400 from 1.4GHz, 3MB L2, 800MHz FSB) and is a model 13.3 inch display with a resolution 1.440×900 pixels LEDs backlit. The total memory is 2 GB and storage is done through 128 GB a solid state drive. Obviously this is a Gigabit Ethernet and WiFi for connecting to wireless networks. The operating system is, Windows 7 Professional 64-bit version of autonomy is left to a lithium 3 cells polymer battery.
