Lenovo also renews its offer by adopting the new mobile processor family Arrandale, the last born of Intel’s home. We talk about the new Lenovo ThinkPad X201 ultraportable, available in three versions.
The new Lenovo ThinkPad X201 ultraportable 12-inch review specifications can then make use of a performance gain and, thanks to the three variations available, they can lose weight and get some improvements. ThinkPad X201, ThinkPad X200 successor, will incorporate an Intel Core i7-620m (dual core 2.66GHz to 3.33GHz in Turbo mode) or Core i5-520M or 540m (from 2.40GHz to 2.93GHz or 2.53GHz to 3.06GHz ). All three CPUs have a development of thermal (TDP) of 35W and therefore offer a range of 11 hours with 9-cell battery, optional.

The declination dell’ultrasottile ThinkPad X201s is instead characterized by an Intel Core i7-620LM and 640LM, with the basic operating frequency of 2.00GHz and 2.13GHz respectively, frequencies of 2.80GHz and 2.93GHz Turbo, with a TDP of 25W. The notebook is slightly thinner and lighter than its predecessor, weighing only 1.1Kg and 1.4Kg with 4 or 9-cell battery, it can guarantee un’autonomai than 12 hours.
This model therefore has a similar weight, but an abysmal performance difference for a total cost of 1249 euros. The Tablet PC ThinkPad X201t adopt the same configuration, but with a touchscreen multitouch (already appeared on the previous version). This model is much thicker and heavier, equivalent to 1.7kg with 4-cell battery. The high-brightness (optional) is adequate for outdoor usage and the basic configuration starts at 1299 euro.
All of these ultraportable integrate a graphics chip Intel GMA 4500MHD (which HD video), up to 8GB of RAM and a 160GB hard drive to 500GB or 128GB SSD, but do not hold an optical drive.
