Lenovo presented the roadmap for the current year and the new Lenovo ThinkPad models L400, L500, W701, X201, X201 Tablet and X201s. Apparently, there are interesting news, although many details are not yet available. Let’s look at the intentions of the Chinese colossus.
Lenovo has announced its roadmap for the year 2010. Some of the key players will definitely Tablet Lenovo ThinkPad X201 ultraportable ThinkPad accompanied by X201/X201s. Within the workstation is planned introduction of the Lenovo ThinkPad W701 while for mainstream notebooks, will make their appearance Lenovo ThinkPad models L400 and L500. Obviously, the information issued by the Chinese juggernaut, are totally devoid of technical specification of future systems that will be introduced on the market.

Anyway, you can probably assume that the ThinkPad X201 tablet is an upgrade of the X200 model. Be noted that, a more accurate look at the roadmap leaves no room for the presence of additional tablet in the yard. ThinkPad W701, instead, Lenovo news had already spoken at some information leaked from the laboratories of the FCC. The most likely hypothesis is that the workstation will be equipped with the performance quad-core Core i7-920XM.
What can we think about the Lenovo ThinkPad models L400 and L500? Little, indeed, even if it should refer to versions 14 and 15 inches, respectively, and equipped with Core i5-class processors from Intel. However, any hypothesis developed at the moment is rather speculative. We just have to wait several weeks for data technical officers.
