Intel Core i7-660UM for notebooks in the summer?. Even if the public expects the consumer release of the first laptops equipped with Intel Arrandale low energy, the Santa Clara company is preparing to leave for a new CPU, Intel Core i7-660UM model.

Expected during the third quarter of 2010, the Intel Core i7-Arrandale 660UM with an operating frequency of 1.33GHz, overclocking can reach 2.4GHz frequency. With a 32nm manufacturing process, this dual core CPU supports DDR3 memory at 800MHz and has 4MB of cache.
It is expected that its TDP is higher than 18W. The integrated graphics component will operate at a frequency of 166MHz and 500MHz will pass, according to user needs. Intel Core i7-660UM should be designed to replace the model Core i7-640UM at 1.2GHz, when little used in notebooks distributed in Italy. In general, however, consumers are coming to purchase a laptop, eagerly awaiting the release of the new Intel Core ix-xxxLM/UM, because they consume less energy than classical models.
