In addition to Intel Core i7-660UM, of which we have talked a few days ago, the Santa Clara company is expected to launch during the third quarter of 2010 a new CPU Arrandale low-power Intel Calpella platform, Core i5-540UM.
Like the Intel Core i7-660UM at 1.33GHz should replace the version with 1.2GHz Core i7-640UM, so Intel Core i5-520UM at 1.06GHz expected during this quarter will leave his post in the third quarter of 2010 model Intel Core i5-540UM. With a frequency of 1.2GHz and a 32nm manufacturing process, Intel Core i5-540UM can increase its frequency up to 2.0GHz thanks to Turbo. Its TDP is 18W and has 2MB of L3 cache and 800MHz FSB.

The integrated Intel GMA graphics subsystem HD will work regularly at 166MHz, but can be overclocked up to 500MHz. As future Intel processors have already been announced, we expect and hope that the first low-power Core CPU Arrandale ix-xxxLM/UM (expected in the first quarter of 2010) they soon entered the market in mobile PCs.
