Hewlett-Packard (HP) is preparing to launch the updated version of its notebook convertible tablet, HP TouchSmart TM2, with Intel Core i5 and Core i3.

Currently, HP TouchSmart TM2 marketing is configured with an Intel Core 2 Duo SU7300 or SU9600, but according to rumors spread on the Internet, the laptop will soon boast an Intel Core i5 or Core i3. The launch of the updated version is scheduled for June 2010. The rest of the configuration will remain unchanged, except for the graphics that in the next model will be assigned to an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4550 with 512MB of dedicated memory, more powerful graphics chip integrated circuits.
As you know, the HP TouchSmart TM2 specs has a rotating LCD touch screen with LED 12.1-inch resolution of 1280 × 800 pixels, a 100% full size keyboard, a 1.3-megapiel webcam and an HDMI port. A fingerprint reader consecrates the business-oriented nature of the TouchSmart TM2 represent a security system for unauthorized access to the device. In addition, a 6-cell battery should be able to ensure you get up to 9 hours, at least according to the statements of HP.
On the software side must report the 3D interface “BumpTop“ through which the user has the right to organize and display documents and multimedia content in total freedom relying on simplicity and directness of touch system.
