Hewlett Packard has updated the series of notebooks ProBook with model 6440b and 6540b based on Intel Core i5 and i7.
Having renewed the series of high-performance EliteBook laptop, HP has introduced its new notebook ProBook 6440b and ProBook 6540b. Both models, whose configuration is highly customizable directly to the manufacturer’s website, Montano Core i5 and i7 of Californian chipmaker and can integrate up to 8 GB of RAM. In addition to hard drives with capacities up to 500 GB, the user is in a position to opt for a solid state drive 128 GB.

ProBook 6440b is a model 14-inch display with LED backlight that can restore the images to the resolution of 1.366×768 pixels, while the 6540b uses a 15.6-inch panel with the same characteristics. In any case, the video card is an ATI Mobility Radeon HD4550 equipped with 512 MB of dedicated memory (which can be used as an alternative to the Intel integrated planned for the basic versions).
The new notebook products from Hewlett Packard HP share a platform based on Gobi Mobile Broadband with integrated GPS. There is also a module Bluetooth 2.1 and Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n. Noteworthy was the presence of four USB 2.0 ports, port DisplayPort, VGA, FireWire, stereo microphone in, headphone / stereo line, the gateway to the network adapter and the connector for the battery backup. With the powerful QuickWeb, you can be connected in just a few seconds without having to wait for loading the operating system.
But the two new members of the series ProBook make available to other potential. In fact, both are equipped with a spill-resistant keyboard and QuickLook feature that lets you view the calendar and email without having to boot the system. I ProBook 6440b and 6540b becomes, therefore, versatile and powerful tools for carrying out various daily activities, benefiting from compact form factor, ideal as a compromise between portability and usability. The basic version of ProBook 6440b has a cost of $ 919 while the ProBook 6540b provides an outlay of $ 959.
