After the upgrade of HP Netbook Mini 210 and HP Netbook Mini 110 and after the the launch of the new line of HP Envy, the American multinational focuses on its consumer Pavilion range. The refresh will include the HP Pavilion dv5, dv7 and dv6 equipped with Intel Core and AMD Phenom II.

HP Pavilion DM4 will be announced officially in the United States May 19, 2010 for a starting price of 729.99 dollars. This model is characterized by the presence of Intel Core i7, i5 and i3 by a 14-inch BrightView screen, optical drive and a fingerprint reader. The system weighs 1.99 kg with a thickness of 25 mm and a range of 6.30 hours. HP Pavilion DM4 may also be optionally configured with an ATI Mobility Radeon, the data storage space to 640GB, and GPS modules, Bluetooth and 3G.

The HP Pavilion DM4 notebook in question can get a VGA port, HDMI, Ethernet, audio jack and four USB ports, as well as a keyboard chiclet. The new HP Pavilion dv5 (14.5 inches), dv6 (15.6 inches) and dv7 (17.3 inches) respectively are announced at a starting price of 649.99 dollar 649.99 U.S. dollars and 799.99 U.S. dollars. Also will be available from May 19. The latter, unlike DM4 Pavilion, will be based on both AMD and Intel Calpella Danube and Quad Core processors.

Available in several colors, the Pavilion classic line will have an area of data storage up to 1TB (the first two models) and 2TB for Pavilion dv7. HP Pavilion dv6 can integrate a dedicated graphics card ATI flagship signed as optionally Pavilion dv7.
