HP confirmed the release of WebOS for smartphone the beginning of 2011. The first of the series should be called HP Mansion and possesses a screen resolution of 800 x 480 pixels.

This is more a confirmation than a revelation: HP will be launching many smartphones running WebOS in early 2011. The information has been disseminated by Eric Cador, vice president of the group, during a conference in Barcelona. Contrary to what was suggested (or perhaps misunderstood) shortly after the acquisition of Palm by HP, marketing terminals WebOS will be a strategic goal for the multinational American, and the intention of returning to the smartphone sector.
