Google launches Android Market WebStore.
Google expands its Android Market portal to a Web version that extends and enhances access to applications, without compromising the user experience through working in a cloud. The “in-app purchase” option is now available for developers.
To continue to enhance the success of applications, Google will rely not only to Android Market (only accessible from mobile devices), but can also count on Android Market WebStore, available on any computer, allowing you to download applications in the cloud. This feature casts the user in transparent and simple an operating system, which in applications end automatically downloaded to your mobile device selected.
Running in the cloud allows you to synchronize the various interfaces, the various entrances and show the apps already downloaded and that may be of interest. At WebStore you can see the team’s efforts to highlight Google applications, with links to the same software developer or similar apps. The Mountain View company has also added the direct integration of links derived from social networks like Twitter, that automatically open Android Market.
WebStore allows you to choose different points of view (popular, free, paid, compatible …) and the download can be done in a click. The store also provides online access to purchase history. As for the developer, you can choose the price in your currency. The function app-purchase has also been added, allowing you to purchase additional items within a game or application.
