Facebook is celebrating 6 years and changes its look
From a university network, Facebook has been known to impose on the international market, February 4 celebrating its first six years of life. For the occasion, Mark Zuckerberg is organizing a restyling of the home page of the famous social network.
Facebook now has between 350 and 400 million users, who spend an average of 55 minutes a day to change your profile, giorcare to certain applications or simply read the message boards of Friends. To celebrate his birthday in grand style, the social network has announced in an official statement also updated its home page. The menu bar at the bottom, reminiscent of the status bar in Windows, now disappears. Notifications, friend requests, events, favorite games, pictures and chat will take place instead in the middle column / main page, next to the field of research.

Access to applications will be through a menu to the left which will bring together various departments scattered throughout the first page. The rest will remain equal to the current style: at the center will display the posts in real time, while the right will appear a little dense column of elements. Among the innovations, however, we point out new features including Filters and Highlights. The first allows you to filter posts according to their preferences and interests, while the latter will show photos, events and notes selected by the user.
These changes, announced last 4 febbario, shall become effective as of February 11, the day when the home page of popular social networking will change them more homogenous, functional and pleasant for browsing.
