We had already talked about Entourage Edge, an eccentric ebook reader Dual Screen, but our adventure at CES 2010 in Las Vegas has allowed us to see him live and to be able to take pictures, exclusively for our readers.

Starting from the month of February 2010 at a cost of $ 490, will finally be made available Entourage Edge, this particular ebook reader equipped with a dual display and officially presented at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show, held January 7 to 10. Notebook Italy had already had to introduce this device which, today, offers several pictures “stolen” on the stage of international trade fair in Las Vegas.

Recall that Entourage Edge is a device equipped with a color LCD display with 10.1-inch diagonal and a resolution of 1,024 × 600 pixels coupled to an e-Ink screen from 9.7 inches featuring 16 levels at a resolution of 1,200 × 825 pixels. Different levels of autonomy reported, according to the type of display used. In fact, the supplied battery pack, would provide a range of up to 16 hours if you use mainly the e-ink. This value would drop to about 6 hours using the LCD.

Initially this ebook reader will be equipped with Android operating system in version 1.6 even though it is probably expected the upgrade to version 2.1. The processor, however, is a model ARM platform Marvell Armada 168. Other data characteristics of this model are a 3GB HDD actually being accompanied by a classic memory card reader, useful for storing their own resources. There is also a virtual keyboard that can become useful for entering data.
