After having been previewed at CeBIT 2010, Asus Bamboo notebook, Asus U33Jc, U43JC, U53JC, U35 and U45 were introduced yesterday with an event dedicated.

Asus has once again presented its new range of laptops in Bamboo. We talk about the specific notebook Asus U33Jc, U43JC, U53JC, U35 and U45 Bamboo on Intel Calpella. Here are the technical specifications for Asus u33Jc:

The dedicated graphics card Nvidia GeForce G 310M with 1GB of memory can be optionally installed, thus taking advantage of NVIDIA Optimus. Asus U33Jc features a bamboo design, nice and attractive, but lacks an optical drive. The upper frame of the screen houses a traditional camera, you can simply turn on or off via a button. The touchpad, very well integrated in palm rest provides a toolbar to select buttons and a bamboo finish.
The keyboard is a pattern to keys chiclet blacks well plates spaced from each other. Beside the power button, the series contains a button to start the mini-ExpressGate Linux-based system that provides access to the Internet in a few seconds. On the left side we find the ventilation grille, one HDMI, one VGA and USB, while the right houses the card reader, audio jacks, the other two USB ports (one 3.0), Ethernet, power connector and connector Kensington Lock.
The model exhibited at the event comes with an Intel Core i5-450M 2.4GHz, with 2GB of RAM and hard disk SATA 500GB 7200rpm. The graphics card is an Nvidia GeForce G 310M. Asus U33Jc will be marketed in June at Traiwan for about 1030 euros.
Asus U43Jc and U53Jc (numeric keypad) have respectively a 14.1-inch display and 15.6 inches. These laptops have the same configuration Asus U33Jc (Core i5-430m, etc etc) but are distributed with 6-cell battery and expected next month in Taiwan for about 1090 euros. Were also announced two other models in bamboo Asus U35 and U45, LCD 13.3-inch and 14.1 inches. The latter have a configuration similar to Asus Ux3Jc, except for USB ports all the standard 2.0.
