Asus EeePC 1005PR , the first Eee netbook with 10-inch HD screen, presented at the CeBIT 2010, in a video showing the accelerator Broadcom Crystal HD work in conjunction with the platform Pine Trail.

The Asus EeePC 1005PR netbook we have talked recently. This is a system equipped with an Intel Atom N450 clocked at 1.66 GHz and X3150 integrated graphics chip. In fact, the HD Crystal Card helps reduce the CPU utilization to 20-25% since the release of intense activity decoding when playing movies in High Definition.

It should be remembered that Crystal HD Broadcom, although media formats H.264/AVC, MPEG-2, VC-1, WMV9, MPEG-4, DivX, XviD and AVS, is not able to handle 3D acceleration. In this area, the platform nVidia ION seems, at present, the most convincing.
