Asus Eee PC R101PX and Asus Eee PC R101

Surprisingly, arriving in a German online shop two new models of netbooks, Asus Eee PC R101PX and Asus Eee PC R101, which surely will be distributed on the market with the version Asus Eee PC R105.

A few days ago, we announced a preview of the arrival of two new netbook belonging to Eee Family, speak specifically of the Asus Eee PC devices R101 and models have appeared R105. The two models have appeared early on the Asus support site for drivers and some documents relating to webstorage. Today, thanks to reporting by our colleague nDevil, we find that the first Asus Eee PC R101PX and Asus Eee PC R101 were included in the list of Amazon German online shop.

Technical specifications and price, the two models seem very similar to popular Asus Eee PC 1001P and Asus Eee PC 1001PX currently available. Asus Eee PC R101 has a 10.1-inch display with a resolution of 1024×600 pixels, Intel Atom N450 processor at 1.66GHz, 1GB RAM and 160GB hard drive. Interesting is the presence of Windows XP Starter Edition instead of Windows 7. Currently unavailable Asus Eee PC R101 will be sold at 249 euros.

Asus Eee PC R101PX is priced slightly higher, Asus Eee PC R101PX price to 299 euros. The difference in cost is justified by the presence of a 250GB hard drive and Windows 7 operating system, while the rest of the configuration is basically the same. Unfortunately there are no official pictures at the moment.
