Apple MacBook with Nvidia Optimus? It ‘only a hypothesis for now, but it is possible that future technology Optimus MacBook nVidia for automatic switching between the discrete and integrated graphics solution.
According to reports which appeared online recently, it seems that the next MacBook Apple could integrate known technology developed by nVidia Optimus is now provided in Windows systems, on products Asus. Please note that this feature enables the automatic switching between the integrated graphics solution in the chipset and the discrete, based on real business needs in order to achieve more efficient management of the autonomy and performance. The news comes after that of integration with the i5 Core and Core i7 processors from Intel.

AppleInsider notes that the real limitation for this combination would be represented only by software but, in this sense, the two giants Apple and nVidia would be working to resolve all issues related to this issue. Anyway, if the rumors are confirmed, Apple began to exploit the presumably 300M GeForce graphics chip and is, in fact, one of the first companies to officially adopt the platform Optimus.
This solution would solve the current problem of Apple’s Pro line that requires a restart when the manual switch between dedicated and integrated card. Indeed, at present, the MacBook Pro allow users to switch between the NVIDIA GeForce 9400M integrated solution to the discrete 9600M GT card, obviously more performant, but also more hungry for resources, through a series of operations that the user logoff and possibly restarting the system. At present there are no official confirmation from the companies involved but, undoubtedly, the next few days could be decisive for further details on the affair.
